Job Description:

Senior Software Engineer role at Wells Fargo focusing on technology and data. The position involves leading technical initiatives, designing and developing software solutions, and working with enterprise-scale applications in the banking domain.

Job Responsibility:

Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
Review moderately complex technical challenges
Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers
Lead projects and act as an escalation point
Build efficient and high performing solutions
Participate effectively in the entire software development life cycle
Define and Design solutions to meet business and strategic requirements
Organize, lead and motivate development resources
Provides technical direction and perform code reviews
Collaborate with team to design, develop, test and refine deliverables
Contribute actively to In sprint automation
Handle production support escalations and EACO calls during India day hours
Motivate team members and promote strong sense of support
Facilitate communications and knowledge sharing
Collaborate with Product Managers, System Architects, Analysts and stakeholders
Define & Execute the test strategy across consumer banking applications

Requirements:

8 to 11 years Java/J2EE Web Application Development
Spring (Core, MVC, AOP, Batch)
Web Services (REST, SOAP)
Kafka (streaming technologies)
Integration technologies
Cloud Technologies (AWS/PCF)
Microservices
Oracle, MongoDB database
Experience with GenAI tools and LLM models
Knowledge in agent-based approach
Strong in OOAD, Multi-threaded application development
Design Patterns
Experience in Behavioral Driven Development (BDD) & Domain Driven Development (DDD)
Hands on Experience in BDD testing frameworks (Cucumber, karate)
Product Development experience
Large Enterprise Scale Integrations
Experience in Consumer Banking or complex middleware applications
API-driven development
Applications Performance Tuning, Scaling, Security, Resiliency Best Practices
Agile (SCRUM) methodology using JIRA
Unit Testing (JUnit)/TDD
Continuous Integration and deployment (Jenkins)
Good business communication skills in English
System Knowledge & Analysis
Problem solving & critical thinking
4 year or graduate degree in Computer Science or engineering
7-11 years of hands-on software architecture, design and development experience
Work experience with SVN, Maven, GIT, Gradle, AppDynamics, Splunk etc. DevOps tools

Nice to have:

Certification in Google/Azure Cloud
AWS Associate level / Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) developer
Container and Kubernetes experience
