Job Description:

Senior Software Engineer in Technology as part of Commercial and Corporate & Investment Banking Technology. The Enterprise Counterparty Risk Technology (ECRT) department provides software solutions to support Corporate, Line of Business and Enterprise Counterparty Credit Risk teams. ECRT works with its business partners in identification, measurement, aggregation and reporting of Counterparty Credit Risk across the firm.

Job Responsibility:

Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff

Requirements:

4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education
3+ years of developing and maintaining data visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, Grafana, Looker etc
3+ years analyzing and optimizing performance of Business Intelligence (BI) solutions
3+ years of SQL experience

Nice to have:

3+ years of Spark, PySpark experience
2+ years of Python experience
Agile experience
Knowledge of Jira and Confluence
Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD) experience
Dremio, Apache Spark, and Apache Iceberg experience
