We're looking for a Senior Engineer to join one of our core product engineering teams in shaping the future of digital banking. You'll collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering Leadership, and fellow engineers to build secure, resilient, and reliable banking solutions. In this role, you'll work with other senior members of Solaris to break down complex requirements and drive the design, implementation, delivery, and operation of complex, high-scale financial services solving critical business and technical challenges.
Job Responsibility:
Design and deliver scalable and secure backend systems, from architecture to production
Drive engineering excellence through a focus on code quality, system reliability, observability, and performance
Collaborate with product and engineering peers to align technical decisions with business outcomes
Take end-to-end ownership of systems, embracing the "You build it, you run it" philosophy from design to deployment and operations
Contribute to and guide architectural decisions and the long-term technical strategy within your team
Requirements:
Proven experience building scalable products with Golang
Strong experience building and operating cloud-native applications on GCP, AWS, or Azure
Strong experience building and operating distributed systems, with an emphasis on performance, reliability, and maintainability
A solid understanding of security best practices for backend and cloud-based services
Demonstrated ownership of complex systems, with a mindset for operational excellence
The ability to drive cross-functional initiatives while balancing technical and product priorities
A thoughtful communicator and problem-solver, capable of aligning engineering efforts with business goals
