Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to process of building scalable back-end systems in the Logistics domain. The role focuses on developing services responsible for data ingestion, processing, and tracking across complex supply chain workflows. The project involvement period is 3 months.

Job Responsibility:

  • Work closely with the Client, team members, and other stakeholders
  • Deliver high-quality code
  • Actively participate in discussions
  • Work from technical specifications to independently clarify requirements and develop, modify, and maintain moderately complex software products
  • Consider overall customer experience, including DoD, quality and performance, while working through tasks, projects, and code reviews
  • Analyze and troubleshoot problems and make recommendations for remediation
  • Solve routine problems and escalate complex problems, issues, and risks to PM
  • Conduct and participate in product reviews
  • be ready to demo the results of the user stories/tasks completed within the Sprint

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in software development
  • Skills to design, develop, and maintain complex, scalable back-end systems
  • Ability to perform code reviews, mentor Junior Engineers, and ensure best practices
  • Independence to drive features from concept to production
  • Proficiency in unit testing using JUnit and Mockito
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Strong availability in the first half of the day
  • Ability to estimate the work and provide the deadlines for individual assignments
  • Strong soft skills
  • English level – Upper-Intermediate or higher (spoken and written)
