Job Description:

Senior developer as part of the Quant Development Standards (QDS) team.

Job Responsibility:

Design and develop clean, efficient, and maintainable Java code
build and maintain microservices within a distributed architecture
ensure system stability and performance in production environments
collaborate with business stakeholders to understand FX domain requirements
participate in the full software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment
automate testing and deployment for frequent, reliable releases
ensure high availability and ownership of the services you build
communicate effectively with global teams and cross-functional stakeholders

Requirements:

Expertise in C++, Python, Google Cloud Platform
high knowledge of DevOps processes and procedures
ability to build automated platforms i.e Jenkins/Teamcity
CMake
experience of both Windows and Linux C++ development
willingness to train other team members of differing abilities and backgrounds

Nice to have:

distributed pricing and risk platforms knowledge
low latency code benchmarking and optimisation experience
experience in working with large legacy code bases
experience in building performance improvement
basic knowledge of quantitative methods
