Senior Software Engineer

• Deploy, and manage enterprise network infrastructures, focusing on high availability, security, and compliance
• configure and maintain Routing & Switching solutions using Cisco Catalyst, Nexus, ISR, and ASR
• implement advanced WAN, LAN, and Data Center networking solutions across global HSBC locations
• manage and optimize BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, VXLAN, SD-WAN, and QoS to ensure seamless global connectivity
• troubleshoot complex network issues across multiple HSBC business units
• utilize tools like Cisco DNA Center, SolarWinds, Splunk, and Wireshark for real-time network monitoring and optimization
• conduct network risk assessments, audits, and ensure compliance with HSBC’s security policies and regulatory requirements
• work in an Agile environment, contributing to Scrum or Kanban teams for iterative network deployments

• Working experience in Cisco Routing & Switching (CCNA/CCNP preferred)
• strong hands-on experience with BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, HSRP, VRRP, MPLS, VXLAN, SD-WAN
• experience with firewalls, NAC, and Zero Trust security models
• experience with Cisco DNA, Sevone, HPNA, Netscout, Wireshark
• knowledge of Dev-ops tools like Python, Ansible, Terraform, Git
• certifications (Preferred): CCNP, AWS Networking, Cisco Devnet
