Senior Software Engineer

• Work closely with our business partners, build and design new solutions, and support the current business
• Build both the client side, to ensure usability and easy navigation, and the server side elements such as data storage, security and overall performance
• Build applications for our Securities Finance and Futures businesses, the Execution Management, Risk as well as Custody and Clearing systems

• At least five (5) years or more of hands-on professional experience designing and developing mission critical distributed systems with high requirements on performance, resiliency and consistency
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Financial Engineering or a related field
• Good understanding of the financial markets, the different asset classes and the unique technical requirements in building financial systems
• Experience from prioritization between technical and business tasks, balancing the long and short term business benefits with technical debt and developer productivity
• Experience in troubleshooting system performance and take corrective action as necessary
• Experience in supporting and running systems in a production environment
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Required experience in Java and Typescript/Javascript

Preferred, but not required, experience in Clear Street technology Stack: Golang, Python, React, AWS, Kubernetes, gRPC, Protobuf, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Redis, Docker
