Job Description:

We’re partnering with a fast-growing, innovation-driven technology company building real-time, high-scale systems in a mission-driven space. They’re looking for a hands-on Senior Software Engineer who enjoys working across both backend development and infrastructure, with a strong focus on building reliable, scalable systems in production. This is a great opportunity to join a small, high-impact team where you’ll have real ownership and influence over system design and technical direction.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design and build scalable backend services and APIs
  • Develop and maintain microservices architectures
  • Deploy and manage applications in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • Work with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) for deployment and orchestration
  • Contribute to and improve CI/CD pipelines for efficient and reliable releases
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance in production
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Participate in system design discussions and contribute to technical decisions

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in backend software development
  • Strong proficiency in at least one backend language (e.g., Golang, Python, or Java)
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • Experience working with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Solid understanding of distributed systems / microservices architecture
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
  • Ability to debug and troubleshoot issues in production environments
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset

Nice to have:

  • Experience with time-series databases (e.g., InfluxDB, QuestDB)
  • Familiarity with caching technologies (e.g., Redis)
  • Experience in data-intensive or real-time systems
  • Previous exposure to DevOps / SRE practices
