Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments, contribute to large scale planning of strategies, design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments.

Job Responsibility:

Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff

Requirements:

4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
4+ years of experience in Java software development, with a focus on Java 11 or later versions
Strong knowledge of Java fundamentals, data structures, and object-oriented programming
Experience with Java frameworks, such as Spring, Spring Boot, and Java EE
Proficiency in database management systems like Oracle, Mango DB or PostgreSQL
Experience with Microservices architecture and design patterns like MVC, Structural etc.
Front end development experience using languages such as Angular, Node.js or React
Experience with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum, Kanban, or DevOps
Experience with cloud-based platforms like PCF, GCP, AWS or Azure
Working knowledge on container applications like Docker, Kubernetes and OpenShift
Experience with Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) tooling
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop creative solutions

Capable of mentoring and guiding junior engineers and contribute to the growth development of the team
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
Strong attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality software applications
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
