Senior Software Engineer

• Work as part of Card engineering team with responsibility for CTB (change the bank) project delivery or ongoing RTB (run the bank) support areas
• Review/Ensure the technical design/code structure is technically coherent and future proof and compliance with technology standards and regulatory obligations
• Work closely with junior engineers/developers and ensure the functional& technical design are developed with quality
• Identify any issues that may arise to delivery risk, formulate preventive actions or corrective measures and timely escalate major project risks & issues to senior management
• Provide support to product deployment for projects as well as the regular FF support to maintain the stable system services

• Ability to understand the business requirements/user stories and link up to the related mapping system programs or modules
• Ability to communicate with those key technical/functional related stakeholders to solve the technical query/issue
• Previous experience working in AS400 RPGLE project development, 3+ years will be preferred
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese
• Understanding of credit card domain knowledge will be preferred
