Job Description:

Senior Software Engineer role at IKEA's digital hub in Bangalore, working on digital products that enable IKEA to serve customers. The role involves designing, developing and deploying applications using various technologies including Node.js, React and Python, working with cloud platforms (GCP preferred), and contributing to the full software development lifecycle.

Job Responsibility:

Design, develop and deploy high-quality, scalable applications
Contribute to full software development lifecycle
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines
Implement Infrastructure as Code
Design and implement data processing pipelines
Work with data orchestration services
Interact with databases
Develop SQL queries and utilize DBT
Write clean, efficient code
Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders
Participate in code reviews
Mentor junior engineers
Stay up-to-date with latest technologies

Requirements:

Design, develop and deploy high-quality, scalable applications using Node.js, React and Python
Contribute to the full software development lifecycle
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
Experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred)
Design and implement data processing pipelines using GCP services
Work with data orchestration services
Interact with databases such as BigQuery, Cloud SQL and Cloud Firestore
Develop and maintain SQL queries and utilize DBT for data transformation
Write clean, efficient code in Python with FastAPI, Pydantic and Pytest
Knowledge of event-based processing frameworks
Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders
Participate in code reviews
Mentor and guide junior engineers
Stay up-to-date with latest technologies
