CVS is seeking an experienced Senior AI Engineer to design and implement scalable AI-driven applications.

Job Responsibility:

Design, develop, and maintain both front-end interfaces and backend services with AI capabilities
Create and manage RESTful APIs and integrate AI services such as LLMs, embeddings, and document parsing tools
Extract, transform, and analyze large datasets to enhance product features and user experience
Implement highly optimized machine learning pipelines with quantized models for legacy hardware
Ensure high code quality through rigorous testing, code reviews, and debugging
Proactively solve technical issues and contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle
Stay updated with emerging technologies and incorporate them into our operations where beneficial

Requirements:

5+ years of overall Software Development experience with at least 1+ year developing AI/NLP solutions using LLMs
3+ years of Python (or similar) development skills with experience in working with CSV/JSON/XML input formats
Familiarity with cloud-based LLM services such as Google Vertex AI, Azure OpenAI
Experience fine-tuning LLMs / SLMs
Experience with data processing, data analysis, and building data pipelines
Solid understanding of rule-based processing and data-driven content generation

Nice to have:

Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) is a plus
Experience with lightweight local development for AI proof-of-concepts
Prior work on e-commerce, retail, or marketing content generation
Deploying applications on cloud infrastructure such as Azure, GCP
Building scalable cloud solutions
Familiarity with databases (SQL, NoSQL)
