Join the Platforms, Applications, Cloud and Engineering (PACE) team and help to transform the ITAR Escort experience across the U.S. Government clouds. ITAR Escorts are approved and authorized individuals who supervise and accompany accessing ITAR‑controlled data, systems, and environments, ensuring strict compliance with control regulations. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design and build software that improves the day‑to‑day experience for workload engineers operating in U.S. Government cloud environments, with a strong focus on security, and usability.
Job Responsibility:
Design – Propose architecture that is scalable, reliable, follows a security‑first strategy, and leverages AI‑driven solutions
Compliance Reviews – Ensure the architecture aligns with Microsoft Security, Privacy, and Responsible AI principles. Lead design reviews with the relevant compliance teams, participate in their assessments, and adjust the architecture based on the outcomes
Implementation – Implement software according to the approved design while keeping reliability, scalability, and security as core priorities
Deployment Pipelines – Design and implement deployment pipelines that support secure and reliable delivery
On‑Call – Participate in on‑call rotations
