Job Description:

Take a leading role in designing, building and scaling the technology that underpins Pomelo’s success. Be a technical leader and a mentor to others. Build AI-powered solutions that fundamentally transform care delivery and create exceptional experiences for both patients and clinicians.

Job Responsibility:

Write clean, elegant code to ship new features
Lead the design and development of robust, scalable systems
Push the boundaries of new AI-powered tools
Enhance the mobile experience
Mentor other engineers
Collaborate with product and clinical leadership to influence the technical roadmap

Requirements:

5+ years of experience shipping high-quality, scalable software systems
High level of proficiency in system and relational database design and one or more languages like Java, C#, Kotlin, Python, Go, etc.
Experience developing applications with modern front-end frameworks like React or Vue.js
Passionate about staying on the cutting-edge of agentic tooling
Track record of delivering elegant and maintainable solutions to complex problems

Nice to have:

Prior experience in AI/ML, natural language processing or building agent-based systems
Previously worked in a fast-paced, product-oriented environment
