Job Description:

Senior Software Engineer in Core Banking Platform Group as part of Consumer Technology at Wells Fargo

Job Responsibility:

Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff

Requirements:

4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
4+ years of Java/J2EE experience
4+ years of experience with Spring Framework
4+ years of experience developing enterprise applications using open source technologies such as Microservices and Rest API's
1+ years of experience with Event Driven Architecture or Messaging technologies including IBM MQ or Apache Kafka
1+ years of experience with Cloud technologies including Azure, AWS, Open Shift, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes or Docker

Nice to have:

Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or engineering
Experience with Agile Scrum (Daily Standup, Sprint Planning and Sprint Retrospective meetings) and/or Kanban
Familiarity with Event driven architecture
1+ years working with configuration and monitoring technologies such as Ansible, Grafana, Elastic, Splunk, Prometheus, Github, Maven
Familiarity with Gen AI tools or technologies
