Job Description:

Senior Software Engineer role in Performance Engineering at Wells Fargo, focusing on leading teams, driving process improvements, and developing robust performance engineering frameworks for retail banking applications.

Job Responsibility:

Lead Performance Engineering teams
Drive team and process improvements through Load Runner, Service and Data virtualization
Collaborate with US performance engineering architects and technology managers to drive efficiencies
Work cross team & collaborate with Developers, Testers, Technology Managers to ensure robust and scalable PE frameworks
Bring new perf engineering capabilities, build POCs, drive and enhance the existing frameworks
Proactive & creative development of practices and automation/tools to enhance team productivity

Requirements:

4+ years of Performance Engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
Industry experience in Performance Engineering
Extensive experience on PE frameworks and tools like Performance Center, JMeter
Experience in SPLUNK, AppDynamics and AWR
Experience in end-to-end performance engineering stages from Identifying NFRs to analyzing and providing recommendations
Skilful in administering projects, ensuring SLA maintenance and deliverable deadlines
Strong coding and troubleshooting capabilities
Ability to train and mentor junior team members
Experience in Shell scripting/Java is an added advantage
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to articulate technology to Management/Business stakeholders
Proactive & creative development of practices and automation/tools
Experience with Load Runner, Service and Data virtualization
Cross-team collaboration with Developers, Testers, Technology Managers
Leadership capabilities to lead PE teams
Capability to bring new perf engineering capabilities, build POCs, drive and enhance existing frameworks

Nice to have:

Domain knowledge in retail banking
Domain knowledge in Fraud & Claims
Experience in Shell scripting/Java
