Job Description:

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work with colleagues in Agile teams to develop global applications on cloud, supporting both printed and digital price tags. This role involves backend development, cloud solutions, CI/CD pipelines, Agile practices, and collaboration with business and IT stakeholders.

Job Responsibility:

Setup development practices working in Agile teams
Ensure good code quality, test-driven development, Build CI/CD pipelines, and ensure the code reviews are done
Collaborate and help the technology team of software and data engineers
Help the product owners and specialists on the technical inputs with respect to the roadmap of the products
Collaborate closely with business and IT stakeholders (including suppliers) to improve solution architectures with learnings from best practices within software development and industry.

Requirements:

Proficient in Java and Spring Boot
experienced in writing unit tests using JUnit, Testcontainers, WireMock
Familiarity with REST APIs, GraphQL, ReactJS, and NodeJS
Skilled in Azure Cloud and/or GCP
experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps
Comfortable with Visual Studio Code, IntelliJ, and Gitflow
Knowledgeable in cloud messaging solutions, event-driven architecture, design and integration patterns, and modern data architectures
Hands-on experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, and OpenTelemetry for monitoring Spring Boot services
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships, manage expectations, and meet deadlines.

Nice to have:

Familiarity with ReactJS and NodeJS
