Job Description:

Join HSBC as a Senior Software Engineer, working in Pune, India. Job Responsibility:

Support the product owner in the management of their work stream Backlog
groom the stories in the backlog to ensure they are prepared
contribute to the project RAAID by raising items when necessary
update the Engagement Lead and Project Management with progress vs delivery milestones
manage multiple environments
communicate with project teams regarding resolving technical/application issues
work with Engineering and operations to ensure environment monitoring
ensure SLA commitments are met and escalate accordingly
provide deployment activities to create/maintain development, test, UAT, and production environments
establish, document and implement best practices for application initiation and deployment
work on continuous improvement to achieve customer satisfaction
adjust flexibility as per project needs
attend project meetings.

Requirements:

6 to 12 years of relevant experience
experience working in agile and devops environment using team collaboration tools such as Confluence, JIRA
strong in Unix and SQL Administration
strong in Terraform, Shell Scripting /Python scripting (any one)
prior experience working on DEVOPS tools like GIT, Jenkins, Ansible/Puppet, Kubernetes
strong hands-on experience on Google cloud implementation
understanding of Big Data concept, DevOps principles & Container technology
excellent multitasking ability
planning and prioritizing time effectively
excellent team member and work as a cross-functional team member
create short-term plans to deliver environments to support sprint-based development
coordinate technical specialists to automate setup of environments
monitor uptime of test environments
provide ongoing support for environments
communicate test environment availability
develop KPIs to track efficacy of test environment delivery
move environment activities toward maximum automation
provide estimates for onboarding of new projects
design systems for continuous delivery and adapt test environment management
forecast environment requirements
accountability for delivery
excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
