Job Description:

HSBC is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join its team in Hyderabad and Pune, India. The role involves implementing testing automation frameworks, working with technologies like Java, Selenium WebDriver, REST-assured API, Cloud environments, and databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle. Job Responsibility:

Contribute towards building strong technical team
Experience in leading the module/project end to end (Estimation, Planning, Deliveries)
Stakeholder management

Requirements:

Candidate with strong hands-on Java, BDD (Behavior Driven Development), Cucumber and Selenium WebDriver, REST-assured API test framework, Testing Automation, JEST + JavaScript, Jenkins, Git Hub, Maven
Good analytical and problem solving skills
Knowledge required on Test case design, Test management, Defect management
Experience in working in DevOps and Agile model
Good analytical and problem solving skills
Contribute towards building strong technical team
A pragmatic approach to delivering modular and extensible code
Experience in leading the module/project end to end (Estimation, Planning, Deliveries)
Good knowledge on JIRA and Confluence
Exposure of Banking domain
Knowledge on Cloud / Pivotal Cloud Foundry / AWS
Exposure of Banking domain
JDBC and databases, such as: MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL and Oracle
Windows and Linux Environments

Nice to have:

Exposure of Banking domain
Knowledge on Cloud / Pivotal Cloud Foundry / AWS
Good knowledge on JIRA and Confluence
