Requirements:
4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Strong proficiency in Java, with deep experience in Spring / Spring Boot.
Experience building distributed systems, microservices, and API-first platforms (REST, schemas, validation, versioning).
Hands-on experience integrating LLMs / GenAI into applications or platforms.
Strong understanding of prompt engineering, structured outputs, tool orchestration, fallback strategies, and agentic patterns.
Experience with automation frameworks (UI, API, or integration layers), designed as reusable platform capabilities, not isolated scripts.
Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern SDLC practices
Python experience for tooling or AI orchestration.
6+ years of overall software engineering experience.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with emphasis on quality, automation, and early validation.
Experience working in the payments domain (banking, financial services, or payment processing systems).
Good functional understanding of Wires or SWIFT payment flows.
Knowledge of ISO 20022 messaging standards, schema elements, and message structures for validation and testing.
Strong problem‑solving ability, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
Work closely with QA, development, and business teams to align automation goals.
Conduct workshops and training sessions on automation tools and practices.
Communicate automation progress, risks, and benefits to stakeholders.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver in agile environments.
Nice to have:
Design and integrate GenAI-powered workflows into engineering platforms and SDLC processes, from experimentation through production deployment.
Build and operate services leveraging LLMs for reasoning, generation, validation, and analysis, using structured outputs, safety guardrails, and deterministic behaviors.
Implement tool-calling and agent-based orchestration patterns (e.g., MCP-style architectures) to enable AI interaction with services, APIs, and enterprise systems.
Hands-on experience integrating LLMs into real, production-grade applications or platforms, not just prototypes or POCs.
Strong understanding of prompt engineering, schema-based outputs (JSON/function calling), context management, and fallback / retry strategies.
Experience with agentic or tool-calling frameworks (MCP or equivalent concepts), including tool contracts, orchestration logic, and failure handling.
Ability to evaluate, benchmark, and tune LLM behavior for accuracy, consistency, cost, and latency.
Demonstrated judgment in deciding when GenAI adds value versus traditional deterministic engineering approaches.
Experience applying GenAI to automation and quality use cases such as test generation, validation, diagnostics, documentation, and change-impact analysis.
Experience with automation frameworks at UI, API, or integration layers.
Ability to design automation as reusable platform services, not isolated scripts.
Exposure to BDD-style design or requirements-driven validation is preferred.
