Job Description:

Wells Fargo’s Financial Crimes and Regulatory Operations Technology Team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to drive modernization and innovation while enabling cloud-native solutions. This position helps deliver scalable and secure container-based technologies for Financial Crimes and Regulatory Operations across the enterprise.

Job Responsibility:

Provide technical knowledge around microservice and container-based solutions while leveraging domain driven design principles and development driven testing
lead and drive others across the team to effectively deliver and transform the way solutions are delivered across the enterprise
support complex engineering initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
resolve coding, testing and escalated platform issues of a technically challenging nature
ensure solutions are engineered to increase resiliency, operational efficiency and managed to mitigate risk
partner with production support and platform engineering teams effectively
enforce the adoption and implementation of modern design principles, standards and companywide best practices for engineering and implementing large-scale technology solutions
leverage your understanding of industry best practices and new technologies to influence and lead technology teams to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
define opportunities to maximize resource utilization and improve processes while reducing cost
collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
work in a globally distributed team to provide innovative and robust Cloud centric solutions

Requirements:

4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
4+ years of experience in Application Development in Java
3+ years of experience in Spring Boot
2+ years of experience in Kafka
2+ years of experience in Cloud Implementation (Azure, Kubernetes, Google, or PCF)

Nice to have:

3+ years of experience in Data Base Technologies such as Oracle or Mongo DB
2+ years of experience in Agile working environment such as Scrum or Kanban
2+ years of experience in Rest API
3+ years of experience in Business Process Orchestration
2+ years of experience with API Gateway and Containerization
ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and products
