The role: A Senior Software Engineer solves challenges and adds value for our customers through their skills in technology. They investigate and resolve issues in our systems in a timely fashion. As a senior engineer within the team they are expected to give guidance, mentoring and where necessary training to juniors and/or new members of the team acting as the voice of experience, whilst still being open to learning from others. The Senior Engineer exemplifies our company values and is a consistent high performer delivering value on the most complex areas on a daily basis. They understand the architecture of the systems and are able to work with Engineering Managers and Product Managers to define and document architecture for new areas of the system, aligning to RedCloud’s architecture strategies. They are expected to keep their technical knowledge up to date in the RedCloud Sphere of platforms, tools and languages.
