Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer. This role involves participating in technical design, taking ownership of production incidents, identifying system improvements, and automating processes to ensure high-quality outcomes. The suitable candidate should be proficient in communicating with stakeholders, presenting business cases, and staying updated on the latest technology trends. Job Responsibility:

Participate in technical design of features with guidance
Take ownership and accountability for production incidents, in terms of timely communication, escalation and incident hygiene
Identify potential system improvements and explain their benefits
Support the establishment of a digital environment and automate processes to minimize variation and ensure predictable high quality code and data
Continuously contribute to code, ensuring compliance with all relevant controls and standards including relevant Service Management Standard
Keep up-to-date and have an understanding of the specific impact of the functional delivery, the business context of change and how a delivery may impact other functional areas
Lead production incident reviews for the team.

Requirements:

University degree in computer science, information technology or a related discipline
Understanding and ability to apply Project Management discipline and portfolio management
Communicate effectively with all levels of stakeholders
Solid working experience in business or technical analysis
Strong understanding of technology and its application, up to date with latest technology trends and ideas in the wider market
Experience in presenting to senior business and technology stakeholders
Can understand, build and present business cases
Strong communications skills in both written and verbal in English
Commercial acumen and good risk management and mitigation skills
Positive, proactive and can- do attitude
