We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our DHP team. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who thrives at the intersection of platform engineering and developer experience. You will become the crucial link between infrastructure and development — understanding pain points, designing elegant solutions, and shipping tools that make other engineers faster and happier.
Job Responsibility:
Partner with Product Owners to deeply understand requirements and break them down into focused, deliverable items
Design and build robust, scalable microservices with high observability and supportability, following DevOps and Agile principles
Own your deliverables end-to-end — from design through deployment — and hit agreed timelines
Provide rapid, effective production support
perform root cause analysis on incidents and drive long-term fixes that stick
Act as a trusted technical consultant for platform users, resolving queries and unblocking teams with speed and clarity
Collaborate closely with cross-functional IT teams and coordinate stakeholder activities to keep the platform evolving
Proactively manage technical debt and keep security and vulnerability posture sharp
As a Senior Software engineer, you take end to end ownership of software delivery to production, are on top of managing any technical debt, support and mentor junior members of the start
You are a self-starter and can initiate ideas and productionize them
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or a related discipline
8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or technical lead role focused on DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE
Solid understanding of how the internet and HTTP work under the hood — DNS, TLS, load balancing, reverse proxies, service meshes, and API gateways — and how these come together in modern microservice architectures
Strong programming ability (structured and OOP) in one or more of: Java, JavaScript, Python, or Clojure
Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana and InfluxDB
familiarity with time-series databases and data visualisation concepts
Proven experience in managing critical production incidents and proactive mindset — you spot problems, performance bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities before they become urgent
Nice to have:
Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and networking fundamentals
Hands-on experience with KVM/VMware virtualisation
What we offer:
Competitive salary
Annual performance-based bonus
Additional bonuses for recognition awards
Multisport card
Private medical care
Life insurance
One-time reimbursement of home office set-up (up to 800 PLN)
