Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Core Banking Platform team which aims to deliver enterprise level capabilities for Customer Account Ledger and Transaction Processing. Job Responsibility:

Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff

Requirements:

4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Strong years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Java, Java Spring Boot, frameworks experience
Low Latency systems development or implementation experience
Multicast messaging framework development experience
Multi-threading and distributed caching experience
Experience with building scalable streaming solutions and real time data processing using technologies like Kafka, Flink etc.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, such as EPLX, Harness, etc.
Experience with Kubernetes containerization (such as Open Shift, etc).
Experience building micro-services, and ability to use design patterns.
Knowledge on database technologies: Relational (such as Oracle, SQL Server MySQL, etc) and Document DBs (such as: MongoDB).Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for working with developers, operations teams, and other stakeholders

Nice to have:

Experience working in banking domain
Experience with Github Copilot.
Experience in test automation using Karate
Experience on Observability Tools such as Grafana, Splunk, AppDynamics, etc.
Experience with large volume data processing and big data tools such as Apache Spark, SQL, Scala and Hadoop technologies
Experience with Agile Scrum (Daily Standup, Sprint Planning and Sprint Retrospective meetings)
