Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Global Payment and Liquidity Technology as part of the Commercial and Corporate & Investment Banking Technology. The role involves designing and implementing automated test scripts to verify the functionality, performance, and reliability of Payments systems, ensuring secure, accurate, and efficient transaction processing.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design and implement automated test scripts to verify the functionality, performance, and reliability of the Payments systems
  • Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
  • Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain
  • Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
  • Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges
  • Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance to less experienced staff

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of Software Engineering experience
  • 4+ years of Java, Python and other relevant technologies
  • 2+ years of experience with SDLC and Agile tools such as JIRA, GitHub, Jenkins, Confluence etc

Nice to have:

  • Experience in using test automation frameworks and tools including Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, and TestNG
  • Knowledgeable in payment messaging standards such as ISO 8583 and ISO 20022
  • Experience in API testing and validation using tools like Postman and RestAssured
  • Strong understanding of Agile development practices, including Scrum and Kanban methodologies
  • Proficient with CI/CD tools and version control systems
  • Demonstrates analytical thinking and effective problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills with a collaborative approach to cross-functional teamwork
