Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
  • Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
  • Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
  • Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
  • Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 4+ years of experience in technology deliverables, with 4+ yrs on Java, REST API, Spring, Spring Boot, SQL server, Messaging systems
  • Experience in SECDEVOPS and CI/CD pipeline
  • Should have utilized toolset of AI-assisted coding, like Github COPILOT
  • Should have clear understanding of Gen-AI and Agentic development
  • Banking experience in technology team implementing settlement systems, secured finance, Repo, securities lending and Prime Finance
  • B.E. in Computer Science or Equivalent from a reputed college/University
  • Expected to implement and deliver technology solutions in high pace environment
  • Expected to work in high performing team
  • Expected to have worked on REPO trading systems in Investment banking firm
  • Deliver comprehensive solution to complex problems utilizing Java, Spring, Spring Boot, REST API, Selenium, SQL server, Messaging systems like Solace or IBM MQ
  • Should have experience in batch job scheduling/control flow systems: Preferably Autosys
  • Experience in Agile delivery environment
  • Experience in utilizing toolset for Agile
  • Expected to use AI-Assisted coding toolset
  • Should be able to work independantly
