Job Description

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join the Customer Developer Observability team. The mission of the Developer Observability team is to deliver a product suite that provides clarity, empowering customers with not only the necessary troubleshooting insights but also the guidance to implement industry best practices and ensure their integrations are continuously optimized for future innovation. You will contribute to a full-stack team building and maintaining a large data tech stack (PostgreSQL, Kafka, Elasticsearch) that underpins products like API Logs and the Developer Dashboard to deliver near-real time insights.

  • Work closely with the product team to understand the scope of changes for our customers

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in the software development industry
  • Full professional proficiency in English
  • Currently working as a Senior Software Engineer or at a similar level, with demonstrated knowledge of building Java web services and designing performant relational database models (preferably PostgreSQL)
  • Experience in Kafka and/or Elasticsearch is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills, comfortable navigating evolving priorities, and adapting quickly to unforeseen challenges
  • Great communication skills and can articulate complex technical vision and strategy to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Skilled at collaborating with various people, including senior leaders, Product Managers, and other Software Engineers
  • Experienced in leading technical projects in a fast-paced environment
  • A flexible team player with an eye for detail
  • Open to some domestic and international travel
