Job Description:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead design, development, integration, enhancements for Hogan IDS (Deposit System) in a regulated mainframe banking environment. This role owns complex batch and online components, drives performance and reliability, and partners closely with product, operations, and risk teams to deliver audit-ready, customer-impacting outcomes. Additionally, the role will lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments, contribute to large-scale planning of strategies, and design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments. You will review moderately complex technical challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures, resolve moderately complex issues, and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new client needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements. Collaboration and consultation with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals is essential. The role will also lead projects, act as an escalation point, and provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff while functioning as an individual contributor.
