Job Description

Senior Software Engineer position on the core web engineering team responsible for everything on ledger.com, owning the end-to-end customer experience and working on various systems on the e-commerce platform with a focus on e-commerce and Web 3 technologies.

Job Responsibility

  • Working as part of an agile delivery team practising CI/CD
  • Writing high-quality, performant, secure and maintainable code
  • Constantly levelling up the team in writing clean code
  • Championing best practice software craftsmanship through examples and good reviews
  • Occasionally speaking and presenting at sprint demos and Web CoP events
  • Translating technical concepts for non-technical people
  • Working across a number of code repositories with an e-commerce and Web 3 focus
  • Creating and reviewing feature blueprints for effective design, planning and forecasting

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in contributing to enterprise-level codebases
  • A keen eye for quality, complemented by great communication skills
  • A great learning mindset – for teaching, mentoring and expanding your own knowledge
  • Working knowledge of Domain Driven Design, eXtreme Programming and Clean Code
  • Experience with TDD, pairing and a whole-team approach
  • An appreciation for data-driven decision making
