Job Description:

The mission of the Clear Street Broker-Dealer Clearing (BDC) team is to design the technology that enables the largest trading firms in the world to operate. We automate the processes that ensure trades happen: ensuring the details are correct, the money and assets change hands on time, and making sure that the risk is managed appropriately.

Job Responsibility:

  • You will solve important problems that underpin the financial system, handling tens of millions of trades/day
  • You will build highly available, scalable, mission-critical applications in a modern technology stack
  • You will work with users to understand and define new features and drive them to completion
  • You will develop a deep understanding of the business domain

Requirements:

  • At least Eight (8) years of experience and strong proficiency with any programming language
  • Knowledge of computer science fundamentals, such as algorithms and data structures
  • High degree of self-motivation and willingness to jump into unfamiliar areas to solve problems
  • Ability to work with stakeholders to develop new product ideas, design the technology to implement them, and see them through to completion

Nice to have:

  • Experience in building trading systems or high-throughput streaming applications
