GitGuardian is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Sources team, responsible for scanning and finding secrets across all sources we connect to (such as GitHub, Slack, OneDrive). One of the major challenges is to scale our engine to scan terabytes of data on a daily basis.
Job Responsibility:
Write code on a day to day basis to make our product better
Own the delivery of some projects or features with your team
Help to level up the overall engineering department’s by reviewing your peer’s code, mentoring more junior developers, pushing for code quality
Be involved in transverse discussions for engineering
Requirements:
At least 5+ years of web software development experience
Strong Django knowledge (or another Python web development framework like FastAPI or Flask)
Experienced with web application development, task orchestration, distributed systems, managing big data flows
Dynamic and proactive personality
Good at communicating ideas (written or oral) in English and French
Nice to have:
Track record of working with a big monolithic code base and knowledge of architecture best practices in such an environment
Built and operated distributed systems with thousands of workers, with a focus on reliability and observability
Built and operated systems with integrations to third parties software, syncing data at scale
