Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer- SCM tech

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
  • Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
  • Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
  • Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new client needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
  • Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Actively participates in Production, QA, UAT Defect fixing
  • Proficient with Deployment in QA, UAT and Production environments
  • Knowledge of OCP will be desirable
  • Strong JavaScript/Typescript and Advance JS proficiency
  • Good understanding of GenAI preferred
  • Familiarity with REST API development and related tools (e.g. Postman, swagger)
  • Experience integrating front-end with back-end services
  • Should be good with SDLC processes and strong working experience in Agile/Scrum methodology
  • Good communication skills and detail-oriented approach is must
  • Strong years of Software Engineering experience
  • Bachelors/masters degree in computer science
  • Experience in design, development, implementation and testing of Client-Server, Web Applications using Java/J2EE, Microservices etc.
  • Hands-on experience in developing complex, highly integrated, backend and frontend-based applications using Java, J2EE, Spring MVC, Spring boot, Hibernate, Angular/React JS frameworks and worked in Agile teams
  • Should have strong work experience in Core Java, Spring web services, HTML5, JavaScript (ES5 & ES6), Object oriented JavaScript, Ajax, JSON, React JS library, Responsive web development
  • Webservice (SOAP and REST)
  • Experience in SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) that includes Requirements Analysis, Design, Coding, Testing, Implementation, Maintenance with methodologies like Waterfall Model and Agile Methodology
  • Experience in design and development of web-based applications and micro services
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
  • Possess the ability to manage workload, manage multiple priorities
  • Strong knowledge of best practices, development methodologies & standards especially engaging in Agile projects
  • Ability to assimilate new information, understand complex topics and arrive at robust designs
  • Should have good skills with build and deployment tools (Jenkins, Udeploy, Harness, Liquibase, Sonarcube)
  • Should be able to define and manage multiple application environments

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of OCP will be desirable
  • Good understanding of GenAI preferred
