Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Software Engineer to lead moderately complex initiatives, contribute to strategic planning, design and develop applications, and provide technical guidance to team members.

Job Responsibility:

Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain
Review moderately complex technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
Resolve moderately complex issues and lead team to meet client needs
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges
Lead projects and act as escalation point
Provide guidance to less experienced staff
Develop, direct, and assist in preparation of complex computer solutions
Coding, unit testing and automation testing
Provide technical guidance to other engineers
Analyze requirements and come up with technical design and estimates
Take ownership and collaborate with global teams
Ensure quality and security of solutions
Partner with engineering team to analyze, investigate and resolve open issues

Requirements:

4+ years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
Strong 4+ years of hands-on experience designing and developing web applications using Java SpringBoot, Spring Framework v3 or newer
Strong UI development skills using JavaScript and React
Experience with Github, Maven or Gradle
Experience with deploying applications in cloud/OCP
Experience with JUnit and Mockito
Experience working on microservices
Experience with selenium test automation or playwright and Unit test automation
Experience identifying and remediating security vulnerabilities
Well versed with test driven development and knowledgeable on associated tools and practices
Ability to understand business requirements and translate to technical design
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
Ability to work directly with global partner teams
Good with SDLC processes and agile methodologies
Experience with Cloud-based development

Nice to have:

Experience with PowerMock and Jacoco
Experience with SONAR and Fortify
Experience with Clean Coding concepts
