Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in DevOps/SRE to lead technical initiatives, design and implement solutions, and contribute to large-scale planning strategies within technology domain environments.

Job Responsibility:

Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff

Requirements:

4–8 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering
Strong expertise in Linux/Unix systems administration
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Go)
Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
Monitor system performance, availability, and security using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK-Stack, or Datadog
Experience with infrastructure-as-code and configuration management tools
Deep understanding of networking, security, and system architecture
Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Nice to have:

Certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP
Experience with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd)
Exposure to observability and incident management frameworks
Knowledge of database administration (SQL/NoSQL)
