Job Description:

As a Senior Software Development Engineer with CVS Health, you will have oversight of internal applications. You will help with leading the work and coordinate with both business and IT stakeholders. The position requires strong technical capabilities, including hands-on coding, and leadership experience in enterprise solution delivery.

Job Responsibility:

Oversight of internal applications
Lead the work and coordinate with both business and IT stakeholders
Lead the applications as a technical owner and accountable for all things related to application strategy, performance and future enhancements
Work in a collaborative environment, contributing to agile ceremonies
Lead the design of efficient and user-friendly software products to advance and support business needs and required to be hands on with coding
Establishes a clear vision aligned with company values
Supports both the business and technical understanding of the customer experience, back-end technologies/capabilities and business operations
Ability to manage to a timeline in a fast-paced business environment

Requirements:

5+ years of experience working with enterprise solution delivery in a large-scale distributed software design environment with strong leadership experience
5 years of experience in Frameworks - Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Angular , Hibernate
5 years of Java 11
5 years of experience in Application/Web Servers such as Tomcat, WAS 9
5 years of experience in CICD Tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, Octopus, UrbanCode Deploy (UCD)
5 years of experience in DB Technologies such as SQL Server 2019, DB2
5 years of experience in Cloud Technologies such as Azure Openshift Platform, Azure Cloud
5+ years of experience with SQL background in DB2 & SQL Server Databases
3+ years of experience in XML / JSON file processing

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Capability to mentor junior and mid-level engineer resources
Proficient with communication across multiple levels of an organization
Experience in Scrum/Agile development methodologies
Strong skills in design and solution engineering across both on premises and cloud infrastructure
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels of the organization
Ability to navigate the technical teams to support the application with new initiatives and programs
Cloud development experience
