Senior Software Development Engineer

• Design and develop technical architecture and infrastructure for digital solutions
• Write code, develop software components, and implement functionalities based on project requirements
• Collaborate with development team members and stakeholders to make architectural decisions
• Apply programming skills to design and implement features, optimize performance, and maintain code efficiency
• Integrate various software components or systems to facilitate communication and interoperability
• Develop and execute test cases, conduct code reviews, perform debugging, and resolve issues
• Participate in agile development methodologies, attend meetings, contribute to project planning
• Evaluate new tools, frameworks, and techniques to enhance digital solutions
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation including system designs, architecture diagrams, and code documentation

• 4-6 years of experience with Mainframe development and support, utilizing several of the following technologies: COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, SQL, MQ, Xpeditor, Endevor or similar source control application
• Systems analysis
• Software design principles and software architecture
• Agile delivery methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage changing priorities
• Ability to work in a team environment to deliver projects
• 2+ years of experience with large-scale offshore vendor support arrangements
• 2+ years of healthcare experience in one or more of these areas: Claim Adjudication, Claim Payment/Banking, Electronic Funds Transfer
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related degree
