Job Description:

Lead the Charge in Transforming Healthcare Technology at Signify Health (a CVS company). We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Senior Software Development Engineer to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our healthcare platform. This is a senior technical position focused on architecting, designing, and delivering highly scalable, resilient, and innovative microservices-based solutions.

Job Responsibility:

Champion best practices in software engineering
Mentor and coach other engineers
Collaborate with stakeholders to define system architecture
Architect and implement solutions using messaging systems
Design and optimize for cloud platforms
Provide guidance on database design and data warehousing
Provide architectural oversight for UI components using Angular
Design solutions utilizing Elasticsearch
Lead technical discussions and drive consensus
Evaluate and champion adoption of new technologies
Take ownership of operational health and performance of systems

Requirements:

8+ years of progressive experience in software development
Deep expertise in .NET/C# OR Java
Extensive experience in architecting, building, and deploying microservices
Advanced proficiency with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
In-depth knowledge of enterprise messaging systems (Kafka, NServiceBus, or RabbitMQ)
Strong architectural skills with relational databases (SQL Server, Postgres) and data warehousing (Snowflake)
Experience with front-end development (Angular, React)
Expertise in Elasticsearch for search, logging, and analytics
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Ability to travel up to 20%

Nice to have:

Experience with gRPC for high-performance inter-service communication
Understanding of actor-based concurrency frameworks like Akka.net
Experience in healthcare industry with knowledge of HL7 FHIR, DICOM, or HIPAA regulations
Contributions to open-source projects or strong public technical presence
Knowledge of AI tools such as Cursor, Github Copilot
