Senior Software Developer

• Primary contributors to Neuron on both the frontend and the backend
• Work closely with a fully remote team of designers, developers, and stakeholders to add new capabilities to the Neuron platform, as well as maintain existing features and infrastructure
• Involved in all aspects of software development, including distributed system design
• Work collaboratively with other developers to design and implement changes
• Turn conversation starters into user-focused value by engaging stakeholders, identifying problems, then collaboratively designing and delivering solutions
• Seek to understand problems so that the solutions become self-evident
• Figure out what conditions allowed the problems to happen and solve those too
• Notice if a detail feels off, say something to the team, build consensus on how to fix it, and then fix it
• Comfortable giving direction as well as taking it
• Verify work is correct as you’re doing it

• 7+ years designing, implementing, and testing software
• Fluency in software design principles
• Experience with test-driven development
• Familiarity with service-oriented architecture and distributed system fundamentals
• Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

Beneficial to have experience with Microservices, Pub/Sub, Event Sourcing, as well as Eventide and Message DB
