Senior Software Engineer: MS Stack. Role Summary We are seeking a dependable Senior Software Developer to join an established operational team focused on the stability and performance of internal platforms. This role is perfect for a developer who enjoys "under the hood" work optimising systems, resolving technical debt, and ensuring critical business applications run smoothly and efficiently. If you take pride in writing clean, reliable code and keeping the lights on for high-traffic platforms, this is the role for you.

Job Responsibility:

  • Maintain and support internal business platforms to ensure high availability and performance
  • Identify and resolve complex technical issues and bugs within the existing .NET ecosystem
  • Optimise platform speed and efficiency through proactive code refactoring and performance tuning
  • Collaborate with the operational team to implement critical updates and minor enhancements
  • Provide technical guidance to ensure the long-term stability of the C# and WCF-based architecture

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience as a Senior Software Developer working with the .NET framework and C#
  • Proven expertise in WCF (Windows Communication Foundation) for internal service communication
  • Strong background in operational environments focusing on maintenance and system optimisation
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in legacy and modern codebases
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively within a collaborative, fast-paced team
  • Minimum 3 years experience as a Senior Developer
