Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer with extensive experience in SAP ABAP programming. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that meet business requirements. You will work closely with cross functional teams to deliver high quality software products while ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design, develop, and implement SAP ABAP programs and enhancements based on business requirements
  • Collaborate with functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for software development projects
  • Perform unit testing and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability
  • Maintain and support existing applications, providing timely resolutions to issues as they arise
  • Document technical specifications, design documents, and user manuals for developed solutions
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices
  • Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and trends to continuously improve development processes
  • Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best practices in SAP ABAP programming

Requirements:

  • Strong expertise in SAP ABAP programming, including reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms
  • Proficient in data dictionary objects, BAPIs, and user exits
  • Experience with SAP modules such as SD, MM, or FI is highly desirable
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies
  • Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 7 10 years of experience in software development with a focus on SAP ABAP

Nice to have:

  • Experience with SAP HANA and Fiori development
  • Knowledge of integration technologies such as IDoc, RFC, and Web Services
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools
  • Experience in performance tuning and optimization of ABAP programs
  • Relevant SAP certifications are a plus
