Job Description:

As a Senior Software Developer - Robotics at Mujin, you will design and implement cutting-edge algorithms for real-time motion planning, perception, and control of industrial robots. You will contribute to system architecture, optimize performance for large-scale deployments, and mentor junior developers. This role is ideal for someone passionate about robotics, automation, and pushing the boundaries of intelligent systems.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design and develop advanced robotics software for motion planning, kinematics, and real-time control
  • Architect and optimize software systems for industrial automation environments
  • Integrate Mujin’s “Teachless” technology with major industrial robot arms (Fanuc, Yaskawa, ABB, etc.)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless hardware-software integration
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering technical growth and best practices
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in deployed systems
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Robotics, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience using Python and C++ for high-performance applications
  • Experience with Linux development environments
  • Hands-on experience with ROS/ROS2 frameworks
  • Expertise in 3D motion planning and robot kinematics
  • Familiarity with industrial robot arms (Fanuc, Yaskawa, ABB)
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
