Senior Software Developer - Full Stack

• Translate technical specifications into working code across the front end (JSF, Bootstrap, jQuery) and back end (Java, Spring, EJB)
• Design and expand data pipelines using ETL activities (Extraction, Transformation, Loading) to ensure seamless data flow
• Design and construct RESTful API services and integrate them with client-side interfaces
• Ensure the overall web architecture is optimized for speed and scalability
• Utilize Oracle SQL and RDBMS principles to manage data-driven programs, perform migrations, and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks
• Support release management and infrastructure sustainment, including time-sensitive upgrades and urgent priorities for core platforms
• Conduct unit testing, debug complex applications, and resolve technical issues arising during implementation or conversion
• Elicit requirements from stakeholders and work with multidisciplinary IT teams to deliver modules that meet rigorous accessibility and security standards

• Extensive experience in JSF (JavaServer Faces), J2EE, Spring, and myBatis
• Proficiency in HTML/DHTML, XML/XSL, Bootstrap, and jQuery
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle SQL scripts and a deep understanding of RDBMS
• Experience with both REST and SOAP web services, including Swagger for documentation
• Experience with Azure DevOps, JIRA, and Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Knowledge of Java programming for web applications using Tomcat or WebLogic
• Understanding of Accessibility (AODA) standards and Public Sector information architecture

Knowledge of Angular/AngularJS is a significant asset

• Act as a subject matter expert in JSF and Java enterprise patterns within a mission-critical environment
• Influence the design of the entire stack, from UI interactions to database schema design
• Play a key role in time-sensitive infrastructure upgrades that support essential service platforms
• Engage in a long-term contract within a structured, high-standard professional environment
