Job Responsibility

  • Technical preparation (e.g. UML) and documentation of software concepts
  • Leading code reviews
  • Defining and reviewing test cases
  • Programming of backends with interlink to databases and other services via HTTP-protocol
  • Maintenance and troubleshooting of an existing software product
  • Working in an international environment with intensive communication to Indian and German colleagues
  • Contribution to the continuous improvement and automation of internal development processes

Requirements

  • Advanced coding skills in python (Proven track record)
  • Very good understanding in designing and structuring code bases
  • Very good understanding in pytest
  • Very good knowledge in the python framework Django
  • Good knowledge in python tooling (e.g. pipenv, black, flake8, isort)
  • Good technical understanding in web-based transmission formats: (XML, JSON, YAML)
  • Good knowledge in creating UML and documentation
  • Knowledge in relational database languages (e.g. SQL)
  • Proven track record with the development environment Visual Studio/VS Code and web-based DevOps lifecycle tools (Git & GitLab)
