Leads the evaluation of test performance data. Collects test data and provides recommendation to break/alter configuration. Performs special test procedures as required to support failure investigation. Prepares for next test activities or events based on results. Conducts reallocation, disposition or refurbishment of test assets. Leads the development of test procedures, and configuration definition, needed to perform the test and minimize risk within the constraints of the test plan. Leads performance of testing and data collection, creating as required test procedures. Identifies anomalies and provides solutions. Generates test plans. Interfaces with internal contacts, decomposes information from requirements and Statements of Work to formulate basic test approaches. Reviews standards and regulations to assess the impact on the test plan. Leads and gathers information from applicable sources to define test requirements, facilities and test environments for simple tests. Identifies test requirements for complex tests. Applies expert judgment in demonstrating the effectiveness of test methods. Evaluates effectiveness of test methods and develops improved methods. Reviews test data for accuracy, quality and/or fidelity prior to delivery to customer. Takes appropriate action based upon test data results. Prepares test and configuration documentation. Leads the staging of test hardware. Participate in test readiness reviews, safety reviews, test plan reviews and test case reviews. Configures software for data acquisition and analysis. Prepare daily execution plans for effective use of all test resources. Leads the preparation of test reports. Provides creativity to lessons learned and performance metrics to improve future testing. Archives data and reports as required.
Job Responsibility:
Leads the evaluation of test performance data
Develop and maintain the overall test strategy, test plans, and test schedules
Lead, mentor, and grow a team of test engineers and QA specialists
Coordinate test activities across engineering, product, systems, and integration teams
Define test environments, tooling, automation strategy, and metrics for quality
Oversee test execution: functional, integration, system, performance, regression, and acceptance testing
Manage defective lifecycle and ensure timely resolution and risk mitigation
Communicate test status, risks, and quality metrics to stakeholders and leadership
Ensure compliance with relevant processes, industry standards, and certification requirements
Support release planning and readiness reviews
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree or higher is required as a BASIC QUALIFICATION
10+ years of experience in test management, quality assurance leadership, and/or equivalent roles
Experience in test planning, execution, and test process improvement
Experience with test automation frameworks, tools, and Continuous Integration/ Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) integration
Experience leading cross-functional teams while managing multiple priorities
Experience with bug/issue tracking systems (e.g., JIRA) and test management tools (e.g., TestRail)
Nice to have:
Experience in aerospace, defense, or other safety-critical industries
Experience with systems integration, hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing, or embedded systems testing
Experience with regulatory and certification processes relevant to the domain
Advanced degree (MS) or relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB Advanced/Expert, PMP)
