Job Description:

Are you a dedicated and experienced Social Worker looking to make a difference in the lives of children in care? Join Walsall's Children in Care Team, where you'll provide vital support and stability for children and young people in need.

Job Responsibility:

Manage a caseload of looked-after children, ensuring their needs are met
Develop and implement care plans that promote long-term stability and well-being
Work in partnership with foster carers, residential teams, schools, and health professionals
Provide emotional and practical support to children and young people in care
Conduct statutory visits, assessments, and permanency planning
Advocate for children and ensure their voices are heard in decision-making

Requirements:

A minimum of 3 years' experience as a qualified Social Worker
Registration with Social Care England
Experience in Children in Care, Looked After Children, or Permanency Planning
Strong assessment, safeguarding, and relationship-building skills
A passion for creating brighter futures for vulnerable children
