We're currently seeking a Senior Social Worker North Qld to join our passionate and high-performing Practice and Impact team at Endeavour Foundation. This is more than just a job – it's an opportunity to shape the future of inclusive, rights-based practice for people with disability. In this pivotal role, you will deliver advanced social work services and play a key leadership role in driving best-practice approaches across the organisation. You'll champion the integration of social, emotional, cultural, and environmental factors into support planning, ensuring each client's voice is heard, their safety prioritised, and their goals fully supported. You will work across multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic, person-centered support that empowers individuals and strengthens their support networks. By mentoring colleagues, influencing safeguarding practice, and embedding evidence-based approaches, you’ll help drive systemic improvements that lead to real and lasting outcomes for the people we support and their families.

Job Responsibility:

  • Leading high-quality, ethical social work practice aligned with AASW standards
  • Providing expert clinical advice and consultation on complex cases
  • Managing and refining referral and case management pathways for clients with complex needs
  • Collaborating within multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated psychosocial support
  • Embedding evidence-based practice and overseeing models for complex case management
  • Contributing to continuous improvement, reducing customer harm, and enhancing outcomes
  • Supporting the development and implementation of clinical protocols and contemporary practice models
  • Monitoring social work outcomes and contributing to research that drives practice innovation

Requirements:

  • Social Work degree and current AASW membership (with CPE) or eligibility for AASW membership
  • Minimum 3 years, post-graduate experience, including clinical/practice leadership
  • Strong knowledge of NDIS and HSQF frameworks, and experience in complex casework and advocacy
  • Excellent communication and the ability to mentor, consult, and lead through complexity
  • A commitment to person-centred, evidence-based practice and continuous improvement
  • Ability to obtain a Blue Card, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and National Criminal History Check
