Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and dedicated Locum Senior Social Worker to join the Locality Teams at Bradford Children and Families Trust. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a progressive and well-supported service committed to delivering positive outcomes for children and families. We are seeking skilled practitioners with strong experience of working with children and families across Child in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), Public Law Outline (PLO), and Care Proceedings.

Job Responsibility:

  • Hold and manage a caseload of children and families within the locality service
  • Undertake assessments, planning, and statutory interventions
  • Work across CIN, CP, PLO, and Care Proceedings as required
  • Build effective relationships with children, families, and partner agencies
  • Contribute to safeguarding and risk management processes
  • Prepare clear, analytical, and high-quality reports
  • Promote strengths-based and child-centred practice

Requirements:

  • Diploma / Degree in Social Work
  • Social Work England registration
  • Significant experience within Children's Services
  • Experience working across CIN, CP, PLO, and Care Proceedings
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment
  • Commitment to high-quality, child-focused practice
