Job Description:

Experienced Social Worker to join the Family Safeguarding Service. The role involves working in tight teams with manageable caseloads to achieve life-changing results and better outcomes for children and young people. The service is a flagship for children's service innovation, using a multi-disciplinary Family Safeguarding approach. The office is purpose-built with easy access to complementary teams (Housing, Children with Disabilities, Adult Social Care, Legal) and benefits from large river and green space views in a city centre location close to main road and rail links.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in Social Work or equivalent
  • Completed ASYE
  • At least 2.5 years experience in a children's social care team
  • Diligent and detail oriented
  • Experienced while still being willing to learn new things and maintaining own continuing professional development
  • Driving licence and a willingness and ability to travel between locations
  • In depth knowledge of current legislation and guidance
  • Current SWE registration
