Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Locum Senior Social Worker to support Children in Care Services in Bradford. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a well-established local authority service, contributing to high-quality outcomes for children and young people. This role will involve working across multiple Children in Care teams, supporting complex casework and providing experienced social work input where it is most needed.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage and support a caseload of Children in Care, including complex cases
  • Undertake high-quality assessments, care planning, and statutory interventions
  • Work across multiple teams as required by service needs
  • Contribute to permanence and stability planning for children
  • Build effective relationships with children, families, and carers
  • Prepare clear and analytical reports
  • Work in line with statutory duties and safeguarding frameworks

Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker (Diploma / Degree in Social Work)
  • Minimum 3 years' post-AYSE experience
  • Demonstrable experience managing complex children's cases
  • Social Work England registration
  • Strong assessment, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively across teams and services
